This allows you to create a New Level within the current Game File.. New Levels are Created after the last Level irrelevant to the currently level being edited. After the Level has been created, it will become the currently active level. If you wish for the New Level to be at a different position (order) then use the Game Info.. menu item under the Game Menu (link) to re-order the Levels as you wish.
When you Create a New level, It will contain a Jumpman Player object aswell as a single Bomb. You will not be able to delete the Player object as well there must always be at least 1 bomb in a Level.
This Menu Item allows you to load a previously saved level into the current Game file. The Level is loaded OVER the existing level so it's always best to create a new Level first and then load over that. Jumpman-UC will bring up the following warning Dialog;
Just Click Yes if you are sure to wish to load over the current level. This will bring up a file requestor so you can click on the level file to load. Jumpman-UC will remember the last directory that you used to load/save a level. If you have not loaded one before then it will default to the 'Levels' sub-directory under the main install of the program.
This menu item allows you to save an Individual Level from the current game file. Clicking on this menu will bring up a file dialog allowing you to specify the file name to save the level to.. Jumpman-UC will remember the last directory that you used to load/save a level. If you have not saved one before then it will default to the 'Levels' sub-directory under the main install of the program.
This Function allows you to delete the currently edited Level. It will bring up the following dialog for you to confirm that you do actually want to delete it.
Game files MUST contain at least one level. Deleting the last level will just delete all of the objects on the level and restore it's settings to a newly created level.
This will Play the Current Level. This allows you to test the current level. When playing a single level, loosing a life will NOT reduce the Lives count when you loose a Life.. Also when a level is completed, it will restart the same level again from the beginning.. This is to allow you to test various aspects of the level by completing things in a different order (if the scriptlets require that). Playing a single level will also bypass the Game introduction and Menus. it is not possible to get a high score while playing a single level.
Exactly the Same A Play but will display the Frames Per Second you are getting on your machine aswell as it will process the global script command "DebugText" (link) as shown in the following picture;
