Gold ' N ' Valley Tours  is  a  family owned  company  in  it's  sixth  year  of  business  run  by  Pat  and  Ian  Wardell-Johnson.  We  both  have  rural  backgrounds  and  a  love  of  the  outdoor  lifestyle.
IAN
Ian  spent  part  off  his  life  on  an  Outback  Station   where  he  picked  up  an  understanding  of  the  outback  lifestyle  as  well  as  some  knowledge  of  aboriginal  cultures.  His  family  then  moved  to  a  sheep  and  wheat  farm  where  he  gained  a  knowledge  of  cropping  before  taking  up  a  career  as  a  Motor  Mechanic  and  for  a  number  of  years  he  serviced  farm  machinery. He  then  moved  to  the  city  to  take  up  the  position  of  service  manager  in  a  large  automotive  dealership.  His  hobbies  include  geology  and  amateur  radio  both  of  which  he  is  able  to  use  while  on  tour as well as a love of flying which stems from life on a remote station and having the supply plane as one of the few contacts with outside.

PAT
Pat   also  lived  in  the  country  for  the  early  part  of  her  life  but  with  quite  a  different  lifestyle  having  been  brought  up  on  a  New  Zealand  sheep  and  cattle  farm. Having  moved  to  Australia  25  years  ago  she  now  follows  her  career  as  a  Medical  Scientist  as  well  as  managing  the  office  and  catering  for  Gold ' N ' Valley Tours.

Our  tours  reflect  these  interests  in rural  lifestyle  and  are  heritage  and  Nature  based.
