Lindfield Climbing
Sunday, 27 April 2008
Its always more challenging climbing in the outdoors. The rock is more painful on the hands, there is the feeling of fear from the lack of protection, and when climbing higher routes fear from exposure kicks in.
Its also far more rewarding. The fresh air and openness and the true feeling of accomplishment are hard to ignore. Oh... its also free!
This Sunday, I took Simone with me to play with some bouldering at Lindfield Rocks for the first time. A few days of dry weather made the rock perfect. Great company, some lizards showing us how to climb and the challenge of “Pipe Dreams” made it an awesome day.
