G'day one and all and welcome to my modest corner of the web! By way of introduction, I'm an Australian-based comic collector (for 25 years) and original comic art collector (for 10 years) whose desire to show off my collection led to this web-page. Speaking of which, this web-page was designed and constructed for me by a very generous friend - thanks lots Satch!
The collection features work by my favourite artists who include: Ashley Wood, Stuart Immonen, Adam Hughes, Phil Jimenez, Carlos Pacheco, J.G. Jones, Mark Schultz, Travis Charest and other luminaries. I felt that displaying my original art collection in this way was much more fun than letting it stagnate in a folio or hang on a wall in my office so check out the art and let me know what you think!
I'd also like to mention my membership in an original art collecting e-mail/mailing list, Comicart-L. The membership of this list which, at last count numbered approximately 240, includes art collectors, art dealers (most of whom still collect), and comics industry professionals. The list is an amazing resource for the art collector who is trying to locate a dealer/rep handling the sale of a favourite artist's work or even, in some cases, to contact the artist directly.
