Summer (Xmas) 2008
OK, the end of another year, so here's a quick rundown on what's happened recently.

Still competing lots on the mountain bike, a little on the road racing bike - I'm currently leading the over 60's off road triathlon championship (not a very competitive age group, I might add), doing some pretty terrible times but my objective is really to be still breathing at the end of the race ... training in the summer heat & humidity is hard work. |

The problem is that the new motorbike (Honda Hornet 600) is way too much fun |

Still happy to make a complete idiot of myself, this was taken at the Ulysses Motorcycle Club Xmas party just before Xmas, where I'm known as the Duracell Bunny (as I am in the push bike clubs too)

Dogs - I lost Luci just before Xmas, Tara is still moping around not eating much, she's always had Luci around ever since she was 8 weeks old or so, so being an only dog is a bit hard for her. She's becoming even more of a sook lately too 
The garden occupies much of my time now (did I mention I've retired?), still planting more trees, currently I'm awaiting delivery of several truckloads of mulch, but it's in short supply at the moment and being sold at prices I'm not prepared to pay.
