Overview
We are a family owned group of companies and businesses headed
by Darrel and Kathy Cole. Our base of operations is the city
of Perth in Western Australia.
Our main facilities are based at Jandakot Airport and include
administration offices, flight training classrooms, departure
lounge, aircraft repair workshop and tarmac aircraft facilitation.
We provide tours, charter, pilot training, aircraft sales
and aircraft maintenance for local and international markets.
The Company
Today's operations originated from Alliance Air, a company
that was primarily involved in the hire of aircraft to charter
operators and flight schools.
Kookaburra Air was formed on 8th January 1996 to provide
air charter, air tours and scenic flights. In January 1998
a facility was purchased at Jandakot Airport to meet the growing
needs and improve service. The company Jandakot Flight Centre
incorporating flight training, aircraft maintenance and charter
services was formed in 2000. Kookaburra Air still services
all tour requirements.
Operations are Perth based with flights from Jandakot and
Perth Airports. All pilots are mature, people orientated with
a pleasant, friendly and helpful attitude, flexible enough
to meet the individual needs of the passengers and trainees
while commanding a safe and professional flight.

Our vision is the realization of combined air tours as the
norm, seeing the inaccessible beauty of Australia while covering
the vast distances between points of interest.. Thus making
it easier and more attractive for people to tour Australia,
much the some way airlines have for world travel.
Pilot Training
To provide a friendly helpful atmosphere with professional,
safe, and highly respected training. With the charter and
engineering sections to give real time experience to all commercial
students in order that they are employable in a charter or
training capacity.

Conditions
Conditions or requirements although stated may change or
be specific to your tour and should be confirmed.
Cancellation
Unfortunately we are unable to make refunds on cancellations
made less than 24 hours prior to departure.
We are also unable to refund accommodation or ground tours
and services booked by Kookaburra as these are not refunded
by the supplier.
Kookaburra Air reserves the right to cancel or make changes
due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Insurance
Operations are covered under the Federal Carriers Liability
Act for Public Liability and Group Personal Accident. Certificate
No. CLI-437242/6. Ground Operations are covered by the local
tour operator, as required by their licensing.
