Core Pilates was established in 2003 with just a few group matwork classes and today offers a choice of Group Matwork and Group Reformer classes, private Pilates studio sessions and Power Plate®
Joanna Littlewood-Johnson is the owner and sole instructor of Core Pilates. All classes are kept small so that, even in a group class, each participant will receive a level of individual instruction to ensure they get the most benefit.
Pilates differs from other forms of exercise in that it concentrates on the deep muscles essential for stability It is a low impact, yet active method of balancing and strengthening, focusing on core stabilization, postural alignment and integration of body and mind.
