Most of the releases shown here relate to the UK. Whilst chart topping success eluded them in their own native country, success was achieved across the Atlantic in South America and some parts of Europe in the early seventies with two cover versions "In The Summertime" (originally recorded by Mungo Jerry) and "Neanderthal Man" (originally recorded by Hotlegs).

Generally, most of the singles released by the Idle Race prior to 1970 were housed in the standard sky blue coloured Liberty sleeve.
