There is currently work being done behind the scenes to get the fabulous release "Back To The Story" re-released. It was the definitive Idle Race collection covering all three albums along with rare 'B' sides and alternative versions. Stumbling upon the albums existence by chance, its demise was met with cries of anguish from music fans worldwide when they realised that they could no longer order the darn thing (The only other previous Idle Race CD was the 'See For Miles' release which is and was long deleted)!

A changeover in the promotions department at EMI meant that the double album did not get any promotion which of course led to slow sales... Heck, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to realise that people won't buy what they can't see or hear! It was therefore unceremonously dumped shortly after it was released... *sigh*

For a band that has always sold its records over the period of time, rather than in the first weeks of release, this was very sad news indeed.

Let's hope that everything falls into place in the very near future and justice prevails.

Also heard upon the grapevine... Plans are afoot to release the famous live BBC radio performances!
