About Us

Welcome to the Yanchep-Two Rocks Recreation Association Web site. Thanks for stopping by. Come on in and have a browse.

We are a Community Group (Volunteers). Our aim is to provide low cost activities and entertainment for the communities of Yanchep and Two Rocks.

Further information is available about the Association's origins, aims and activities, committee, meetings and how you can become affiliated.

Affiliated Organisations

The Recreation Association has played an important role in helping establish many of the sporting and recreational bodies in the area. Organisations currently affiliated with the association include Sports, Leisure Activities, Community Organisations and groups for particular ages and genders.

Phil Renkin Recreation Centre

The Phil Renkin Recreation Centre (locally known as the 'Bini Shell') has been the Association's base for many years.

Sadly, Phil Renkin passed away in September 2011. Phil was instrumental in establishing and working with or involved in many of the local community groups and activities over many years in the Yanchep-Two Rocks area. Find out more about Phil Renkin.

Past Events

Despite the hot weather, about 500 people came along to the Association's annual Australia Day Breakfast at the Phil Renkin Recreation Centre in Two Rocks on Thursday 26 January 2012 and enjoyed a hot breakfast, chocolates and flags for the children, the presentation of well deserved Community Awards and great entertainment for young and old - ALL FREE.
