CITY MOTORS...    Newcastle Street Perth confirms sponsorship of the Go For 2 n 5 28th West Coast Classics Dancesport Championships 2011. The organizers welcome and thank City Motors for their continued support.

STOP PRESS... Go For 2 & 5 - 28th West Coast Classics Dancesport Championships 2011 secures television coverage for the 2011 event. This will be in association with a new television production company. The format will be similar to that used at major events in Europe. Discussions are in progress to incorporate the adjudicators marks (how the adjudicators see it) on the television screen after each dance. This would involve the general viewing public on how the event is adjudicated. This style of television coverage has not been seen or produced in Australia in the past and the organizers have decided to produce the event themselves to incorporate much of the European format for Australian dance followers and viewers...  The organizers Richard Morrissey and Steve Gull will produce and retain copyright of the program.

A message from the organizers:

Dear Dancers...   The Go for 2 & 5 28^th West Coast Classics Dancesport Championships 2011 will be a GALA BALL for the Saturday 27^th August evening events.

The semi-finals and finals of the open events will be presented at the ball; there will be plenty of general dancing throughout the evening.

The 28 year history of the West Coast Classics Dancesport Championships has been that of an event designed to promote and support you the competitors. The Go for 2 & 5 28^th West Coast Classics Dancesport Championships 2011 will again introduce a new format to showcase you the dancers of Western Australia.

The 2011 event will be a two day event on Saturday 27^th & Sunday 28^th August and will support all levels of dance from social medallist to Australia’s top national and international competitors.
