IDEAS
The story originally came from the old site and would be part of a 5-part story arc featuring The 10th Doctor. The idea that a lone "junkman" (just happened to be a Cyberman figure) was bringing pieces of spacejunk to a planet, finding parts so he could leave. It changed alot between the revised script for The 5th Doctor and filming of the story. The "junkman" idea was dropped and a more "Cyber" story adopted.
FILMING
Filming Block One consisted of scenes on the pilot's space ship and was filmed on the 6th of April 2009. Block Two consisted of the TARDIS Console Room/Corridor and the Cyberman's compound, which were filmed on the 7th of April 2009. The Cyberman's compound set wasn't just a cheap way of design but also to reflect the Cyberman's alone "feeling" and his blank emotion.
EDITS
The ship in the first panel was just a pile of nuts and bolts which I coloured grey and added sun bursts to make it look like it was under attack. The teleport effects were done also using a sun burst, cross fading two photos and adding the neon, all coloured orange.
EXTRAS

This marks the first appearence of The 5th Doctor and Nyssa. Extra Credit to Phil from AFT for the "SatanPit/42 inspiered spaceship" (used as the spaceship). The Character of Cyberman, who is name-less at this point, returns soon.

"Become Like Me" takes place between TIME-FLIGHT and ARC OF INFINITY, as the 5th Doctor is only traveling with Nyssa.
