Diver Training

We provide training to general recreational divers as well as various groups within in the Western Australian professional fishing industry.

In 1999 we received PADI Asia Pacific's award for outstanding commitment to education.

Recreational / Non industry based training

The majority of our students are from inland farming towns such as Morawa and Moora. While they are quite some distance from the coast (and any diveable bodies of water) the diving interest in these communities is considerable. As well as ocean diving, pool based introductory programs such as PADI Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba are also immensely popular.

All Points Diving ran Australia's first Bubblemaker program in Morawa, over 100 Km from the coast and 400 Km from Perth!

Industry based training

For the past four years we have provided diver training to members of the western rock lobster fishery. This training has been carried out following the occupational health and safety diving guidelines and industry Code of Practice produced by the Western Australian Fishing Industry Council (WAFIC) and approved by the Western Australian Department of Health and Safety.

Training takes place along WA's midwest coast, from Fremantle to the Houtman Abrolhos Islands (west of Geraldton). Skippers and deckhands are trained in diving skills relating to lobster pot recovery. The open water dives and associated operations are conducted aboard the relevant fishing vessels and are incorporated, as realistically and practically as possible, into a normal working scenario.

All Points Diving were the first to offer this training and have worked closely with the relevant bodies and authorities to provide a workable training program.
