The works begin on Saturday, 12 of July 2008. Many years of negotiations, preparations, fundraising, hopes lost and regained, and at last here we are. 
We are building a new shelter, on the land leased from the Alice Springs Town Council, adjacent to the old pound. Keep this page handy, it will be updated often.
