Chris has worked in Information Technology for many years and took up art as a New Year’s Resolution for the new millennium; for her it has been a life-changing experience.
Chris loves colour and texture and she endeavours to use these to create mood and atmosphere in her artworks, most of which are semi-abstract acrylics or mixed media. Recently Chris has started mixing her media even further by creating digital art from combinations of her paintings or drawings and/or her digital photographs. This brings together the different strands of her life; computing background and love of art and photography.
She is currently Coordinator of Atwell Arts Centre and Gallery for Melville Community Arts Association and is one of the artists who can be found in Studio 5 at Heathcote.
Chris exhibits widely and has won many awards in both her styles.
