Colleen enjoys experimenting and developing her work in both traditional and more abstract styles using a wide variety of media. Always looking for opportunities to draw in charcoal, conte, oil pastels or ink.
Studying at Claremont Training College and the UWA in art and music respectively resulted in a career in secondary school teaching.
Colleen has been commissioned to paint large backdrops for stage sets, museums and garden centres; she has received several awards for her theatre sets and other works.
Being an active Member of the Melville Community Arts Assoc and the Alfred Cove Art Society has led to her participation in many exhibitions in and around Perth.
