Eve Gellatly

Eve started learning pottery after a career in teaching, and attended classes for three years with one of Perth's leading potters. She joined South of the Rivers Potters Club in 1996.

Eve likes to use fine white stoneware clay for most of her work and enjoys experimenting with glazes, as well as using different textures and coloured clays to give variety and interest to her work.
She mostly looks to nature for her inspiration and has a great love of native plants and animals.

Eve has taken part in various exhibitions at the Atwell Gallery and won the Award for the Best Pottery in the Show at the Melville Community Arts Association Members' Awards in 2002.
