Hilda became interested in art in her teens and obtained a scholarship to Cardiff College of Art in the UK in 1961. Hilda continued to pursue her love of art working in design and graphics in the Printing industry. In 1991 she graduated from Curtin University with a Fine Arts Degree majoring in Printmaking.
She is currently a practising artist with the Printmakers Association of Western Australia (of which she is a past President and Exhibition Coordinator), the Alfred Cove Art Society and the MCAA.
Her work reflects her observation of the environment, the pattern, the texture, and atmosphere, exploring her personal reaction and emotions using a multi media approach.
She has received many Awards spanning over 20 years.
