Suzanne was born and educated in Perth, WA. Suzanne is married and has two adult children. Family and various ethnic qualities influence her art as well as a love of nature and beauty. She is an expressionistic artist.
Sue, as she is known to family and friends has always loved to draw, but followed a different direction at school, becoming a secretary, helping her husband in small business, raising a family and is now a part-time medical receptionist. Around 10 years ago she followed her dream and began classes at Atwell Gallery. Her first teacher was wonderful and covered theory and art history as well as practical art.
Mostly self-taught, Sue has now developed her own individual style and likes to use watercolour, Chinese ink, mixed media, acrylic and pastels. In the last few years Sue has won several local awards and
exhibits in several galleries and community art shows.
