UNIVERSE: FRONTIERS Frequently Asked Questions
What is Universe: Frontiers?
UNIVERSE: FRONTIERS is a professionally printed publication, which expands upon SPI’s UNIVERSE, The Role Playing Game of the Far Future.
UNIVERSE: Frontiers seeks to enlarge themes already present in SPI’s role playing game, fill in gaps and expand this fine role playing system.
Why are the publications called Modules?
UNIVERSE: FRONTIERS presents a Adventure Module for SPI's Universe which the publication is based around. Each Module is designed to demonstrate new concepts and systems by including new Professions, Skills and Variant rules. Future UNIVERSE: Frontiers Modules will explore different themes, expanding on SPI’s Universe even further.
What's in the publications and how often will it be available?
Each publication contains between 50 and 100 pages with colour cover and inserts for maps, adventures and illustrations. Each publication is divided into an Adventure Module, Feature Sections, which support the Adventure Module and Regular Sections which cover a variety of other one-time and ongoing subjects. "This news group is for the dissemination of ideas/material for the Science fiction role-playing game Universe originally published by Simulations Publications Inc. in 1981. With it's 3-D star mapping, use of percentile dice, and skill based system SPI Universe is very likely the best Sci-Fi RPG ever sold. All help in this endeavor is appreciated.
Thank You for Your Interest,"
- Greg G. Walters Owner: Universe RPG Group
The Universe RPG Developers Group
"This Group is for the development of publications (Star System maps, settings, game systems, etc) to support SPI's Sci-Fi RPG Universe. Intended for developers only.
