This page is all about my Tau project. 

If you'd rather see my Eldar collection click here. It could take a little while to load, there are some fairly large thumbnails on that page.

So far I have: 

• Bought 2 boxed Tau Battle Forces, 3 tanks, 3 broadsides, 6(old) stealth suits and an extra box of fire warriors
• Cut and cleaned my models
• Assembled most models (3 to go!)
• Drilled holes in appropriate places and glued in Rare Earth Magnets
• Painted all of the bases
• Undercoated all of the models that I have so far
• Base coated all models except two of the broadsides.
• Painted one crisis suit to completion, and all of fire warriors.
• Painted all 24 kroot.
• Converted my Broadsides to mount both guns on one arm rather than one on each shoulder.
• Painted all 22 drones.
• Painted all 6 stealth suits.
• Completed the first broadside
• Done all base colours on the remaining 5 crisis suits, currently hightlighting
• Done all base colours on the tanks

As a member of the mini-painter yahoo group, I discovered http://www.miniaturespace.net/tau. This site provided me with a powerful desire to paint Tau. In fact it provided me with the desire to paint them just like that. So anyone visiting both sites will probably see similarity (once mine are painted that is). There will be some differences of course, as personality has a lot to do with how anyone paints.

Magnet Close Ups Like many people in the Tau Yahoo Group I use rare earth magnets to make my crisis suit wargear interchangeable.
Gun Drones - for some strange reason I have no photos of these.

Kroot
Pathfinders are a difficult one. I don't really like the metal miniatures, but don't have the skill to convert them out of plastic and putty. Furthermore, I use them so rarely that I'm considering the possibility of not buying them at all.
Travel Case No Army is complete without it's own luggage.

The current plan of action:

• Finish the damn crisis suits. They're taking so long!
• Go back to working on the tanks. They were taking so long that I gave up in favour of painting the crisis suits.
• Convert up an Airbursting Fragmentation Projector out of fusion blaster parts.
• Buy and paint an ethereal.
• Take a much needed hiatus from Tau models.
• Come back and do some pathfinders and finish the broadsides.
