Episode Six

Alexandra Restauranter pushes her son in the direction of his bedroom.
"Off to bed, youngun," she coos softly. She sits and watches Luke, stumble up the stairs, like a proud mother. It is easy for her to do this as she is a proud mother and Luke is her son. A faint voice of a young boy echos back down the stairs, "Do what you feel is right, Mum. Do what is in your heart."
Such good advice from such a young boy.
Alexandra walks over to the telephone. She knows her answer. She knows what is the right thing to do. She picks up the phone and dials the number without looking in a phone book. It is handy that these people are able to memorise so many phone numbers. Maybe it is the Harbour Town air.
Straight away, someone answers!
"Carlos Richman's phone. Only the oiliest of oils will do! Owner of the phone speaking," says the deep Spanish voice.
"Carlos, it's Alexandra," says Alexandra truthfully.
"Who?" queries Carlos.
"Your girlfriend," replies Alexandra with a slight roll of the eye.
"Oh, right! Yes, of course. What can I do for you, my darling?" swoons Carlos.
"You asked me if I wanted to marry you. If I wanted to marry Carlos Richman. Well, I finally have an answer and I'm not going to waste any more time between now and giving you that answer because I know that I have already wasted enough," says Alexandra with determination.
The sound of Carlos's jaw dropping reverberates through the phone and around the room, the noise so deafening that Alexandra cannot answer the world's most asked question.

Meanwhile at the beach shack that is Lisa Treehugger's office...

Lisa and the mystery man, who we all know is Jordan Outsider, smile "smile enough so that you look friendly, but not too much so that they think you like them" smiles.
"Hi, I'm new in town and very hungry. Are there any beachside diners, coffee shops or over priced restaurants around here?" asked Jordan hungrily.
"There's a restaurant just a block away from here called Les Moutons, run by a quiet yet beautiful woman," answers Lisa helpfully.
"Isn't Les Moutons French for..."
"Yes, it is," interupts Lisa, sick of new people laughing at the name of Harbour Town's restaurants. This guy was good looking though so she thought she would cut him some slack. "I was just going to head there myself. I'll walk you there and we can chat. Infact I believe that by the time we reach the restaurant we will be the best of friends"
"Oh I hope so," says Jordan happily. "I really hope so!"
Lisa and Jordan walk arm in arm over the scrub covered dune, Lisa pointing out interesting species of plants and animals on the way.
"That's a family of ants. I call that one Nibbles."
