Episode Twelve

Vicky Geepee is relaxing at home. Having just poured herself a gigantic cup of delicious percolated coffee she wanders about her small yet finely decorated lounge room. She looks happy and content and feels that way too.
"I'm happy and content," says Vicky honestly.
But before she can get too comfortable, the doorbell rings. She isn't expecting anyone – Trent won't be home for another few hours and her cleaner has already been and gone. Who could be at the door? What do they want with Vicky?
Vicky puts her coffee mug down on the table, picks up a baseball bat and heads to the door.

DRAMATIC MUSIC

Vicky makes barking noises, hoping the person will think that there is a ferocious dog about to attack them. Down on hands and knees, Vicky takes the dog impersonation a little too far as she scratches at the door and tries to smell who the visitor is.
Vicky returns to her relatively normal human self and opens the door slowly revealing the person standing outside...
"Oh. It's you," says Vicky swinging the door wide open and walking back into the lounge room.
"Did I just hear a dog barking in here?" says Mary-Jane Law, Vicky's best friend and non-burglar.
"I don't know what you are talking about," says Vicky forgetting her previous adventure. "Would you enjoy a percolated coffee?"

Meanwhile at Les Moutons, the scene of those broken plates...

Marina Shady is sitting by herself at a table in the corner. She always sits in the corner, mostly because Alexandra Restauranter doesn't like her and hiding her away is the best solution. But also because Marina Shady likes looking mysterious and corners seem to do that to a person.
Marina noticed the handsome outsider as soon as he arrived. Her eyes have some sort of magnetic attraction to sexy men. She was horrified to discover that this new interest had a boring, smelly environmentalist hanging off his arm. She wondered how she would ever find out his name and for once Lisa Treehugger did something useful when she giggled "Oh Jordan!" loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. Including those seated in corners.
As she plotted how she would soon replace Lisa Treehugger, Marina watched with interest the recognition between Alexandra Restauranter and "Jordan" (if that really is his name) and laughed loudly when Alexandra dropped crockery.
"Hmm..." thought Marina. "So Alexandra and gorgeous Jordan know each other do they? I wonder how... I think I shall make it my mission to find out, but first I need to get Jordan away from those two awful women."
Marina grabs her oversized mobile phone and dials another memorised number.
"Oh Sergeant Cop! Thank goodness you're there! i hope I didn't wake you... Oh you don't need beauty sleep, you handsome and powerful man, you!" flirts Marina disgustingly. "Policeman Jake, darling. You must hurry to Les Moutons! There is a disturbance that I think you will be very interested in!"
Marina hangs up the phone without a goodbye, a farewell or a so long. She leans back in her chair and smiles a pointy, red and excessively plump smile.
