| Area Fellowships
Because of the large membership of our church, we have divided our Bible Study into geographical areas. These sections meet at the homes of members and here we have an opportunity to study God's word and get to know eachother better. Area fellowships meet every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month At 8.00 pm Catechism Classes All baptised members recieve instruction in the Christian faith and doctrine. This generaly commences in the year the children turn the age of 14, and continues until they make a personal commitment by the way of their Public Profession of Faith. Adults wishing to become members of the church can also attend these classes. There are 4 groups: Faith Forum This is a group for people who have just made their Profession of Faith. All who attend Faith Forum study issues related to living in Christian faith.They meet twice per month on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 8:00pm at various homes. Women's Weekly Bible Study The Women's Weekly Bible Study group meet every Thursday at 9:30am at the Church and creche is available for little ones. Ladies Fellowship Ladies Fellowship meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 9:30am at the homes of one of the ladies for a few hours of fellowship. This is a time of sharing from the word of God, sometimes doing crafts, enjoying outings, and other activities. Young Blokes Bible Study we are as group of about 5-7 guys who meet together evey second wednesday night. We are aged between 17 and 20, and love to study Gods word. this is for tose who really want to take God's wod seriously. |
Cadets Cadets is a club for boys from 8 - 15 years. Its purpose is to train boys in Christian leadership. It is a lot of fun doing things together with other boys and also teaches them what to do with their leisure time. Activities include Bible study, badge and craft work, outings, games, and camps. They meet fortnightly at the church building from 7:00 till 9:00 pm on Fridays. Head Counsellor: Wim van der Wacht Calvinettes Calvinettes is a club for girls from 8 - 15 years. Its purpose is to train girls in Christian leadership. Activities include Bible study, badge and craft work, games, outings, and camps. They meet fortnightly at the church building from 7:00 till 9:00 pm on Fridays. Head Counsellor: Corinna Keane Sunday School Sunday School is a time of worship and learning for children aged between 4 and 7. Together with teachers and helpers the children participate in prayer and singing to the Lord, contribute to an offering, (supporting a sponsor child), and learn from the many Bible stories and activities. Sunday School Commences 9:30 every Sunday (except school holidays), and runs thoughout the morning church worship service.
