**THE HORROR OF GOD!**

There are a number of actions taken by the Jewish/Christian God in the Bible that can only be considered horrible! We will see the unfair killing of children, infants and even nursing babies by your God! We will see the killing of an infant, by God, because of the crimes of the father! All of this, and more, done by this God, according to your own Holy Book!

First, We have your God ordering the killing of women, infants, and nursing babies in 1 Samuel 15:3....

1Sam 15:3 `Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and do not spare them. But kill both man and woman, infant and nursing child, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.'"
 

Next, in 2nd Samuel 12:15-18 we have this God killing the infant son of King David because of crimes that David himself had committed!

2Sam 12:15 And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

2Sam 12:16 David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.

2Sam 12:17 And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

2Sam 12:18 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?

It was this very same God that killed David's son that said....

Eze 18:20 The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.

The next horror by this God of yours is....

Eze 20:25 I also gave them over to statutes that were not good and laws they could not live by;

Eze 20:26 I let them become defiled through their gifts-- the sacrifice of every firstborn-- that I might fill them with horror so they would know that I am the LORD.

God, in the above verses, tells us that **HE** caused these people to perform HUMAN SACRIFICE by burning their first born! God filled them with this HORROR just so they would know that he was Lord! WOW!

Then we come to the next horror by your God.....

In Judges 11:29-39 After the Holy Spirit came over Jephhthah, your God made a deal with Jephthah! Jephthah asked that if he was able to have victory in the battle with the Ammonites he would make an burned offering of the first person that came out of his house when he returned home in victory. Your Bible then says in verse 11:32, "And the Lord Gave him victory."

And when he returned home from battle, Jephthah's little daughter came running out of the house to hug her daddy's neck not knowing that it was her that would now be killed and her little body burned and offered up to God as the sacrifice that was promised and agreed to. It did in fact happen, according to your own Bible, and your God did in fact accept this sacrifice of a little girl. Your God could have sent the hand of an angel to stop Jephthah as he did with Isaac....but that did not happen to this poor little girl. God accepted his payment for victory over the Ammorites!
