| This chapter covers the installation of Fiberfrax insulation and an aluminum liner over the plywood firewall bulkhead, and the fabrication and installation of the rudder cable pulley brackets. Step 1 – Rudder Cable Brackets
Step 2 – Firewall Insulation & Liner As I have not yet fitted my main spar I have decided to move onto Chapter 16 and will return back to this chapter once the Wings are completed. I have read on other websites that it might be better to wait until you are ready to fit the engine mount as the fiberfrax and the SS would have covered up all the dimensional markings and most importantly, the hard points where we drill the holes for the engine mount.
