Emergency Management Systems
are designed to detect abnormal events within your premises. These may
include the presence of smoke, electrical anomalies, emergency activation,
or the detection of unauthorised persons within your premises or restricted
area. A number of responses will be initiated, including local audible
sirens for instant on-site alert, together with back-to-base monitoring
to initiate a predetermined response plan. Peace of mind that your property
is protected whilst you are there and whilst unattended.
Emergency Management Solutions
- tailored to suit your individual needs.
An alarm system can be as simple or as complicated
as you choose. Our security professionals take the confusion out of selecting
the correct security system for your property. Whether your premises is
Residential or Commercial; Single or Multi storey; a Unit or Apartment,
we will tailor a system to provide you with the ultimate in Security, User-friendliness,
Expandability, and of course, Cost Effectiveness.
Internal Electronic Security
Control Panel - this is where all
the components of the security system are controlled. The 'brains'
of the system, it utilises a tamper switch should anyone attempt to interfere
with your alarm. The Control Panel also periodically checks the functionality
of the system with the security control room. In addition, the 24-hour
monitoring centre will advise you if the system back-up battery needs replacing
or if the system is in fault or in need of servicing. It will also monitor
the life of any batteries within any wireless detectors.
Keypad - this is normally situated
at your main entry/exit door and is your personal access to the security
system via your personal PIN code/s. Where you may have more than one entrance
to your home, an extra keypad can be installed to fully operate the system
from either entry point. The keypad also contains the emergency buttons
that activate the alarm and initiate an emergency response with a single
press.
Motion Detectors - these are available for either hardwired
or wireless applications. Standard detectors are passive infra-red (PIR),
which activate when an object crosses its invisible beams, thus detecting
movement in particular areas of your home. Sensors can cover a wide variety
of distances and angles, depending on your needs. Some motion detectors
have been designed to accommodate for 'harsh' environments
such as garages or sheds, and minimise the false alarms often experienced
in these environments. These sensors use microwave plus PIR technologies
(dual-tech) utilising the same principles as radar, sending out energy
and waiting for it to be returned.
Pet Immune Detectors - Designed for homes with pets these dual-tech
sensors can distinguish between animals and humans so that your pets don't
set your alarm off.
Internal Screamer - Emits a very loud (110dB) alarm within the
building.
Panic buttons - these buttons trigger the alarm system and,
if monitored, are linked to the security control room 24/7.
Medical / Duress Pendants - these personal pendants can be worn
at all times providing a constant link to the security control room 24/7
in case of a medical emergency. Loud sirens will not be activated in a
medical emergency but a security control room operator will implement your
specific emergency procedures immediately.
Remote Control Key Fobs - Key-fobs allow you to arm and disarm
your alarm system remotely via a wireless system control.
Perimeter Electronic Security can be armed
24 hours a day, whether you are in attendance or away.
Shock/Vibration Detectors - these
are available for either hardwired or wireless applications. They are installed
on perimeter doors and windows and are activated by forceful vibration
or shockwaves to the door/window. Installed and operated correctly, these
sensors may stop an intruder before they are able to gain entry to the
premises, and in many cases before there's been any damage to the glass
or frame.
Door Contacts - Otherwise known as magnetic reed switches (MRS),
door contacts are designed to provide perimeter security, and are often
used on your main entry/exit door to provide a delay in the alarm activation
long enough for you to complete your entry/exit procedure
Door Chime Feature
Detects and chimes when a door is opened.
External Electronic Security
Strobe Light/Sirens - these operate
externally and are designed to let you and others know that there has been
an emergency activation at your property. It also helps emergency services
to quickly identify your premises in an emergency situation. The siren
strobe is placed on the exterior of the home and flashes when the
system is in alarm. A siren strobe also acts as a deterrent for burglars,
by indicating an alarm is present.
External Detectors - these weather proof / pet-immune detectors
operate externally on your building to detect intruders before they attempt
entry to your premises.
Fire Detection
Fire Detectors - An optical
heat multisensor, these activate your alarm in the event that smoke or
a dramatic increase in temperature is detected. Heat enhancement ensures
high sensitivity to fast burning fires whilst the optical chamber provides
exceptional false alarm immunity. Monitored smoke alarms are always active,
even when the security system is not armed, providing you with 24-hour
protection. In addition, the monitoring centre will advise you if the battery
back up needs replacing or if the system is in fault, ensuring efficient
operation when you need it most.
Heat Detectors - These use digital
thermal detection that analyses the fixed temperature and alerts your system
if there's a dramatic increase in temperature. They are best
utilised where there may be a fast flaming fire hot spot, such as in kitchens
or in chemical fires.
Wireless Smoke Detectors -These
photo electric sensors detect smaller particles of smoke much sooner than
their ionisation counterparts, giving you a greater chance of escape, and
enabling our control room to initiate an emergency response, whether you
are home or away, and the opportunity of saving your property.

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Digital Video
Recording:
CCTV systems consist of cameras, recording and display
devices that are interconnected on a closed network. They can be as simple
as one standalone camera hooked to a small television, or a fully integrated
network of cameras feeding direct footage to the security control room
for remote monitoring.
Various types of cameras may be used to capture video
footage under varying lighting conditions. Some cameras are designed to
be stationary and provide fixed views, while others can be remotely positioned
by an operator to provide a specific view. From external pan and tilt cameras
with weatherproof housings to discrete dome cameras for internal applications,
EMS
is able to tailor a CCTV solution for almost every possible application.
Digital video takes CCTV into an IT environment, enabling
the system to function over LAN, WAN or Broadband (Internet), providing
remote vision of the location and enhancing surveillance capabilities.
Video footage from multiple cameras can be recorded on digital storage
devices for investigative purposes or displayed live through a management
system by an operator, to enable a quick assessment and response.
EMS specialise in providing CCTV systems that meet the requirements
of a variety of property types, such as residential properties, retail
premises, and commercial applications. Our range of products is user friendly
and provides unique device functionality.
Access Control:
Access control systems are designed to permit authorised personnel right
of entry into restricted sites, whilst denying entry to unwelcome people.
It involves issuing access credentials in the form of swipe cards, pin
codes, and proximity readers to every person who is authorised to enter
the premises. Card readers and electronic locking devices are installed
on all restricted access paths and the system is then programmed to define
the entrances, times and rules of entry for each credential holder. Access
control systems can be integrated into other systems in the building such
as CCTV systems, which will activate when a door is opened to provide a
visual record of who is entering the building.
