In May 2005 Jo and I bought a Winnebago Freewind from Parkland
Winnebago in Maddingtom WA. as we live in Cockatoo Victoria this meant driving home over
the Nullarbor. In August 2006 we did a circumnavigation of
Victoria. The best part was following the Murray River, from Mt Kosciusko in NSW down to
the young husband peninsula in SA. In March 2007 we were invited to a wedding in New Zealand and spent a few weeks touring the south island after the wedding
In February 2008 we travelled from
Home to Ceduna SA, then back again by following
the South Australia Coast round the Eyre, Yorke and Fleurieu Peninsulas
in South Australia, then following the coast in Victoria to Melbourne.
In May 2008 we travelled from home to
Cairns and back covering 7600
kilometres in 4 weeks In December 2009 we travelled round Victoria
from Mildura through Wangaratta then over the Great Alpine road to
Bairnsdale and home via the south Gippsland highway. In September 2010 we spent
10 days touring round
Tasmania taking our Peugeot 307 with us on the
Spirit of Tasmania and staying in holiday cabins in places like St Helens, Coles bay,
Strahan, Stanley and the Cradle Mountain as well as the major cities.
During 2011 we have made several smaller trips of a few days each
because of the need to be available for family assistance. We will continue to travel around this great country of ours,
All the while thanking our father in heaven for our many blessings, health and happiness.
Here are some links to places we have been that are worthy of a visit.
