Step 5
A photo of any baby pony in a block of ice.
Extra points: Hidden amount of extra points for each extra
pony in the same block of ice.
Ice inside an object will get sneaky points. The block of ice must stand alone
and we must be able to see each and every pony.
This one just made me cackle. I had these wonderful visions of really arty photos of a perfectly clear block of ice with baby ponies suspended in it, the sun glinting off the ice. In reality however the babies bobbed to the surface of the water, so they protruded half out of the ice. I figured I'd just take the photo looking through the ice at the suspended babies. No go, the ice froze white. All you could see were faint coloured blobs from the other side. I had to take the photo of the block pony side up, and it was hardly sunny either *sigh*.
There was also the brief alarm over the fact that water expands and plastic goes brittle when you freeze it. I didn't fill the bubs with water, and figured if I let them thaw out before trying to separate them they'd be okay. And yep, they survived their ordeal okay. Now I just need to thoroughly dry them!
