Duplicate a movie poster in a photo using ponies.
At first I had no idea how I would go about this. I looked through movie posters and considered doing The Matrix, but that would require good costuming and lighting, 2 things I'm not good at. Maybe Forrest Gump? But where would I get a pony size park bench? Maybe 7 Year Itch? Again, the costuming problem. Then I thought of The Dish. I took a postcard perfect photo of the Parkes radio telescope when I was there, maybe the poster had the telescope in the background and the cast in the front or something?
It turned out The Dish poster involved a lot of sheep. There was also a small image of the actual dish on the poster. I figured I could get a bunch of cotton balls and do that. Being artistic as a brick it isn't very good but it's okay. I like the fact that the photo of the actual dish was taken by me.
