Matt's Frozen Foods is a small business that provides cheap, ready to eat, home cooked food. It is designed to allow for anyone to be able to afford to have meals on hand from the freezer at a reasonable price. The recipes listed on this site is not intended to be an exhaustive list of everything I will cook, and if you want something that I don't have listed already then feel free to contact me and ask. I am yet to be asked for anything that I'm not willing to attempt to make, and I am always happy to have more recipes.
This business will provide for those in need, by significantly reducing the burden of time required to get healthy food on the table. It will also strive to create affordable food for those with dietary requirements that are often not looked after elsewhere. Those without the time, energy, or ability should not have to eat less healthy options.
I have no formal training as a chef, but have been cooking for myself for nearly 20 years. I spent about 3 years working in a kitchen, primarily as a delivery driver, but also assisted in the preperation of food. For the last 5 years, my partner and I have been cooking food for ourselves and some friends, as well as collecting recipe books both for reading and making food from them. In early 2012 I did some catering for a friend's project, which required feeding about 20 people every night for a week on a fairly tight budget. This was a quite rewarding experience, and has certainly helped my drive towards cooking food for a living. Since August 2012 I have been operating this business, and have expanded my knowledge of restrictive diets considerably.
