Along with two others you have decided to start a graphic design business that will produce web sites, animations and print materials. Your first step is to apply to a bank for a loan to setup the business. When looking for a business loan from a bank or financial institutions you need to submit a loan proposal. Your loan proposal must answer the following questions:

  • Who are you?
  • How much do you need?
  • How are you going to pay it back?
  • What happens if you can't pay it back?

At this stage you are going to focus on question 2, "How much will you need"

You have decided to split the business into three areas;

  • Web Site and Animation Management,
  • Print Media Management
  • Financial and Sales Management

Each person will need a computer with specialised software and the three computers will connect to a server via a hub on a star network. Also on the network will be a high quality colour printer and a spare computer to allow for future expansion of the business.

There will also be a router and a fast Internet connection through an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
