Performance Arts is an area that takes a special kind of filmmaker to shoot. We have the proven skills to translate live theatre onto the small screen while still retaining the integrity of the original performance.

Blue Moon has a long-standing relationship with many Perth theatre and dance companies, such as Deck Chair, Yirra Yakkin and 2 Dance Plus.

In addition to our creative collaborations, we provide a full range of support services. We have filmed and documented the works of theatre companies for:

• Documentation of both the completed work and the developmental process.

Blue Moon has a long-standing involvement in local arts, collaborating with dancers and choreographers to create distinctive dance films. Recent projects in this genre include editing and mentoring for "Sugar", screened at the Festival of Perth, and "Silent Movie" created with Phillipa Clarke for the "Putting on an Act" 2002 for the Perth Institute for Contemporary Art.
