Blue Moon Film & Video have been involved in the whole process of Documentary filmmaking, from Producing and Directing to Filming and Editing. We are passionate about many issues, especially Conservation, Social Justice and Aboriginal Reconciliation. Recently produced Documentaries include:
"Leederville 6007 - The Yugal Club" (Producer) SBS's Postcode Series.
"Because the Forest Called" (Producer/Editor) The story of the protests that saved WA's old growth forests. Blue Moon/Frog Prints Co-Production.
"Forgotten Allies" (Editor) Documenting the plight of Viet Nam's Montignard tribes, who backed the United States in the Viet Nam war, and suffer persecution as a result. Produced by Scorpion Productions.
"Something Close to Hell" (Cinematographer) ABC documentary by Paul Roberts. The story of burns survivors filmed at Royal Perth Hospital.
"Show us a Light" (Director/Cinematographer/Editor) In the south west of WA in the 30's and 40's a style of painting developed among the aboriginal children incarcerated at Carolup mission. Produced by Pat Nunn. Distributed by Ronin Films. Toured internationally. Included in museum and library collections throughout Australia.
