Over a short period of only 14 days, my
car was completed.
The entire running gear was serviced and upgraded.
Basically as the photos show, I gutted my car!
The M50 engine had only done 20 thousand kms.
A new heavy duty clutch was put in as well as lots of new bits.
I decided to redo the interior as well.
Isn't it funny when you budget to do a job like this, things kind of always
get the better of you and the budget gets well and truly thrown out the
window!

The Vanos harness is no major problem to modify,
if you know what you are
doing that is!

in less than 20 minutes.
Absolutely nothing was scratched or dented.
Unbelievably simple!

Next was the harness and wiring.

Left - I thought I would put in new
headlights as well as a new zender spoiler,
grille and bumper rubbers as well.

Right - no doubt a job like this one needs
a clear work area and lots of space.

Left - The front has dropped only
marginally from the M20 level.
By using thinner rear spring dampeners, the ride height has dropped in the
rear and thus reduced the rake.
Front camber plates are the next
modification. That should help turn in!
