Designed for F class shooters with standard weight barrels, (up to 2.5kg). The Davies tuning system incorporates a threaded sleeve which is attached to your barrel by Loctite thread locker # 243. The sleeve alleviates the need for the barrel to be removed and threaded as is the case with some tuners. This system also insures there is no contact by screws to the barrel which can cause damage to your muzzle if over tightened. The Tuner itself simply screws over the top and has fine adjustment and marked increments of 0.003", after you find the tuning point, it is locked firm in place via the grubscrew.
This tuner will fit any barrel
turned down to accommodate a foresight etc, at (3/4
or 19.05mm), it can be bored at any diameter up to
22 mm or taper bored (22 mm max) to suit your
barrel. Just advise us in your order

Manufactured from aluminium, and weighing approx 1.7 kg, the Davies bipod provides a very effective and stable platform for F class shooters of all disciplines. No matter what calibre you use, the bipod is fully adjustable for height and incorporates a unique anti cant lock which relieves the need to re-level you rifle after firing, saving you time so you can concentrate more on point of aim and weather conditions.Simply level you rifle, lock it and forget it. Used by some very
distinguished competitors, this bipod has proven to
be one of the most popular for F class shooters. |
With the inclusion of F/TR into Australian Match rifle and possibly main stream shooting in Australia we have had a number of requests to manufacture a lighter bipod to meet F/TR weight limits. Based on our previous design (on the left), we have now added the F/TR bipod to our range. With its wide footprint ensuring stability and the anti-cant lock it has all the benefits of our previous design. The F/TR bipod weighs in at 1.1kg, 600 grams less than our original. Available for left and right hand shooters, (please specify in your order). Fits to Anschulz rail. The 3'' fore end plate transforms an existing stock into a benchrest or F class stock for use on Sinclair or similar rests. No modifications are required, the plate attaches to your accessory rail. |
This gauge is used to check the seating depth of your ammunition compared to that of your rifle. Having established the position of the land relative to the bolt head (end of case) this gauge is then used to set your seating dies to give whatever “ free flight “ of the projectile that you desire. Different projectiles give different seating
depths with the same die setting. Even the same make
of projectile can give different seating depths for
different batches of projectile. The gauge can also be used to measure from a
corresponding point on the projectile ogive to the
base of the projectile, thereby batching
projectiles. |
This gauge is used to check the headspace of your rifle and for setting your sizing dies. The gauge is calibrated to 1.630” which is the minimum headspace your rifle should be set to, ie the “ GO “ gauge. The maximum headspace your rifle should be set to is 1.634” ie the “ NO Go “ gauge. How to use a Headspace Gauge Take a fired case ( before sizing ) and check it’s H/S with the gauge, if your rifle is correct it should be between 1.630” and 1.634” This case should re-chamber without difficulty. Now run the case thru your sizing die and measure it again. Ideally it should measure the same as it did when it came out of your rifle, however .001” either side is not unacceptable. If necessary adjust your sizing die to give you a reading of 0.001” either side of the reading you obtained of the fired case. Check that there is no cratering of the fired primer as this will give you a false reading. NOTE: We suggest that before taking any readings, zero the vernier with the moveable jaw against the face of the gauge. |
