Bob's interest in art commenced in the 1970's when he completed an Arts Diploma at Perth
Technical College. Since then, art has provided much inspiration for his life journey.
As landscape painter, he spends much of his time painting on location in and around the
city of Perth, Kings Park and the Swan River. He has also made regular expeditions to
the north west of the state and other regions in search of creative inspiration.
Bob's paintings are traditional and impressionistic. Essentially a tone and
temperature painter, he "searches for the light" using creative colour to enhance
the effect of light and atmospheric perspective to arouse the viewers emotions.
