GUN DOG CLUB OF WA 10TH SEPT:

Nov Jan: Marriu a Kelpie with Samantha Weaver, a very happy handler at presentations, nice to see.

Nov July: The stays in this class caused a lot of upsets and it was sad to see dogs on qualifying rounds fail stays because of an altercation caused by one dog. However the winner of this class worked a lovely round so congratulations to Reesha a GSD with Peggy Walker, second went to a BC Vicky with Bill Waterer and third to a delightful JR Scruffy with Dorothy Williams.

Nov Comp: again saw the well performed Iljaberg Yolanda a GSD with Eric Herson win.

Open Jan: A very good trial for Eric with his other GSD winning this class Adashad Pretty Woman CDX ADX ET a lovely round just edging out the exciting BC Brynbank Magic Sunday CDX with Jill Houston another classy round from this pair. Third went to the lovely Goldie Mhadaidh Special Edition NRD UD ET with Anne Cameron.

Open July: This saw two dogs tying for first place Max UD ADM ET with Mel Rhoden this BCX is such a fabulous worker that has been at the top of the winning board for a long time on the same score with another fantastic round Mhadaidh Doggy Dancer CDX AD a Goldie with Amanda Houston, the win going to the former on a countback. In third place was another consistent worker Lara CDX ET a Goldie X with Sandy Gee.

Utility Jan: Brulana Behold A Lady UD NRD a GSP with Elaina Hogg a very fast working dog that scored well tonight.

Utility July: Ob Ch Luftadastra Kiri UD Std Poodle with Gina O'Keefe, tonight Kiri worked at her best and was perfection personified,absolutely stunning and deservedly gained that fab score of 200 many congratulations.

BUNBURY & D.D.C 17TH SEPT:

Novice: Brynbank U Can Do Magic AD BC with Amanda Houston another star in the making a lovely round that promises so much for the future. Second was Iccara Nonesuch a GSD with Gina Neuman a lovley shepherd that has a great future. Third Koboni Ezawinna a Rott. With Terry Meehan this dog had a lot to put up with with dogs running into his ring when working and breaking stays around him but nothing fazed him a lovely dog with a super temperament, I hope to see him out a lot showing just what this breed is capable of.

Open: Wow what a class three points seperating first to fourth and they all worked with style, happiness and accuracy showing just what good training produces for the ring. Max UD ADM ET with Mel Rhoden, Ob Ch Luftadastra Kiri UD with Gina O'keefe, Lara CDX ET with Sandy Gee, Brynbank Magic Sunday CDX with Jill Houston all fantastic dogs congratulations.

Utility: The win today was special as Max UD ADM ET a BC with Mel Rhoden gained the well deserved title of Obedience Champion with a great round again only three point seperated 1st to third Ob Ch Luftadastra Kiri UD with Gina O'Keefe another great round and a newcomer to the Utility ring but pressing the established stars hard Brynbank Magic Sunday CDX with Jill Houston.

STATE OBEDIENCE TRIAL 23RD SEPT:

I do not have the full results as I was judging and concentrating on other things!!! However I do know that the Judge of Open July was amazed at the standard in the morning judging and found that he had given two dogs the perfect score of 200, both these dogs consistently work at a very high standard so we should not be surprised that occassionally they 'throw' in a perfect score, but to do so on the same day, wow! So congratulations to Mhadaidh Doggy Dancer CDX AD with Amanda Houston and Ob Ch Torravean Moon Spinner UD with Sue Hogben, I am sure that these two Goldies have many more perfect scores up their 'sleeves'.

Winning the run-offs in the afternoon were Novice: Iccarra Nonesuch GSD with Gina Neuman Open: Ob Ch Luftadastra Kiri UD with Gina O'Keefe. Utility Ob Ch Max UD ADM ET with Mel Rhoden.

PERTH ROYAL SHOW:

As always not an easy place to work your dogs, soooo many distractions but most of the dogs coped very well.

Utility: Yet another round to drool over, Ob Ch Luftadastra Kiri UD and Gina O'Keefe did not dissapoint us this pair are showing some beautiful work at present and long may it continue, it is so good for the sport to see such excellence(pictured left). In second place another long time favourite of mine Jack UD ADX ET a GSD with Brian Glover this dog is so impressive he is fast and accurate, he does not come out to trials a lot these days but when he does he sure is great to watch, third went to a Dobe Ch Aarondobe Reignof Terror UD ET with Adrian Jarret This dog can work really well when he wants to and today he certainly wanted to he was lovely. Well done.

Open: Again a class chock full of talent, but with a judge who is known for 'hard' marking any pass was going to be cherished. However we were all in for a surprise as for the first time in all her judging experience the perfect score of 200 was handed out, and well deservedly so, even all the outside 'judges' could not fault the round congratulations to gaining 200 two weeks in a row Mhadaidh Doggy Dancer CDX AD and Amanda Houston, second and third had to be divided by two countbacks with the win going to the super working Lara CDX ET expertly handled by Sandy Gee third going to Brynbank Magic Sunday CDX and Jill Houston showing lovely work.

v: Making the Royal a show to remember Amanda Houstons BC Brynbank U Can Do Magic AD won with a round that shows she is certainly going to be a force to contend with. Second went to a GSP gaining their CD today Brulana Not Again Lady with Tegan Hogg, these two were the only two to qualify, the distractions took their toll today. Well done.

ROCKINGHAM 13TH OCT.

Nov Jan: Ballifscourt Aboss Assy (AI) a Rottweiler with U Pozerski turned in a great round and shows yet another Rotty giving work we know the breed is capable of well done. Second and gaining CD Borderquest Powa Of Spike a BC with Brian Marsland a lovely round from this dog who now seems to be concentrating a lot more.

Nov July: Sorry no results. Nov Comp: The newly titled Brynbank U Can Do Magic CD a BC with Amanda Houston showed that she is ready to move up a class congratulations.

Open Jan: Brynbank Magic Sunday CDX with Jill Houston thoroughly enjoyed his outing and worked a treat.

Open July: Lara UD ET with Sandy Gee again turned in a great round, as you see Lara has recently gained her UD title well done it is very well deserved you are a great pair. The other two to place in this class were Alec CD a Bcx with Anne Baldwin and the recently titled CDX Cleveland another BC with Sue Creedy-Mckeig Sue always seems so delighted with her dog it is great to see her enjoying her Border Collie so much, and why shouldn't she they are the best breed a?!!!!!

Utility: Yep, here she is again the wonderful, fantastic, superlative etc Ob Ch Luftadastra Kiri UD and Gina O'Keefe, hey Gina I am seriously running out of adjectives for Kiri any suggestions? I also think that Debbie Keoghs GSD Kane qualified today so well done mate.

GSDA WEST COAST CHALLENGE OB TRIAL 3RD NOV:

Excellent trial very well run and there seemed so much room tonight, it is odd as sometimes it is seems very crowded but not tonight and there was a good entry of 109, so why I do not know, but I enjoyed the feeling of extra space.

Nov Jan: A new star is born Mel Rhodens GSD Vonarran Miss Millenium blitzed the field tonight and won with a seriously stylish accurate round well done guys good luck for the future. Fling a Cairn with S Jaensch lovely to see this little dog work third and gaining their CD Leila with T Patterson well done she is a great little dog good luck in Open.

Nov July: Peperton Gonna Drive'M'Mad a Dobe with P Lankowski lovely working dog this and I shall follow their carrer with interest. Second Anywylaid Magic Scaramooch a Goldie with Allison Miller one of Allisons new boys and he is performing very well, third went to Scaramooches litter sister Anywylaid Magic Matiya handled by T Blackman.

Nov Comp: Brynbank U Can Do Magic CD AD with Amanda Houston way to go guys, another lovely round. Second went to a Goldie Anywylaid Mr Dreamaker CD with Allison Miller the second of Allisons boys and working very well congratulations. Iljaberg Yolanda CD ET with Eric Herson, Erics GSDs always works well and tonight was no exception and on the same score as Yolanda another GSD Volscaro Athena CD ET with Paul Maller yet another top working dog, mind Nov Comp is always a great class to watch as all the dogs have their titles so are all of a good standard so well done to the winner and placegetters.

Open Jan: Brynbank Magic Sunday CDX with Jill Houston a very tight accurate round that had people coming up afterward to say how much they enjoyed watching such controlled joy. Second wet to Adashad Pretty Woman CDX ADX ET with Eric Herson these two dogs have swapped places a fair bit this season just shows how consistent they are and yet another super round from Erics GSD, third went to another stylish worker Kimari Magic Moment CDX with Kerry McGillivray well done.

Utility Jan: Move over Kiri your daughter has decided you have held the 'mantle' for too long tonight Kimari Magic Moment CDX with Kerry McGillivray worked their little socks off and impressed all who saw them, well done it was a pleasure to see. In second place Iljaberg Quest For Truth UD AD ET a GSD tonight worked by Brian Glover an excellent round from this fast moving dog, he is very exciting to watch, third went to another Kiri daughter Kimari Flashy Surprise CDX with Helen White well done you two one more leg and the title of UD is yours and on tonights lovely work you will not have long to wait in fourth place Ob Ch Betterbe My Starman UD and Debbie Hyde a super round from Cody tonight but slippy fingers from Mum when taking the scent article cost points, darn!!!!!!

Utility July:Ob Ch Max UD ADM ET with Mel Rhoden showed some great work again tonight, as did Jack UD ADX ET with Brian Glover well done. Gaining their Obedience Champion title tonight was a Dobermann Ch Aarondobe Reign Of Terror UD with Adrian Jarret.
