Welcome to the 'DUNLOP PARK' AUSTRALIAN ANGUS CATTLE STUD HOME PAGE

Dunlop Park is an Angus Stud on the North-West Coast of Tasmania, Australia's Island State. We extend a welcome to Angus breeders and enthusiasts to call in and see us if you are ever passing by. Over the years we have made many friends and met many wonderful and interesting cattle breeders from all over the world and we would enjoy meeting you as well, showing you our cattle and at the very least having a cup of tea and a chat.

    The Dunlop Park cow herd offers a rare resource for Australian Angus breeders; cattle with a high proportion of Australian bloodlines. We have bred to retain the features of the Australian cow herd which have been the strong foundation for the success of the Angus breed today. Our cow families line back to iconic Australian herds such as Springvale, Creekton, Victoree, Terinallum, Kahlua, Currawidgen and Wambanumbah.
    On this base we have used outcross sires from herds in Australia, North America, the UK and New Zealand.

    We are a genuine outcross herd with a far lower than average precentage of links to other herds, which can make comparing EBV's difficult, however we have a wide range of information available on our cattle. All bulls for sale have been weight recorded, scanned, structurally assessed and in some cases have had 50K tests.
