The top sign in this picture has been on display in Perth for years. One day, the bottom sign appeared, and then disappeared a week or so later. I have no idea what it was about. |

A sculpture of WA's first premier, Lord John Forrest. The work is displayed in Bunbury, a city in south western Australia, where he was born. Apparently he was supposed to have a body and limbs but they ran out of money. |

There is no real reason I included this, I just liked it. George Hammond is a US physicist who posts a lot to usenet, and has formulated a brilliant and elegant proof of God's existence, the so-called "Scientific Proof of God" (SPOG). This is one of his illustrations pertaining to that proof. Note that it is copyright, so you would need to ask permission before using it in textbooks and such. |

Festival of Wind, Bondi Beach, Sydney, November 2000.
A kite festival which I saw during a trip to Sydney. Although it was a fairly windy day, the bear and octopus crashed onto the kids below a couple of times. The humanity. |
