FAQ: WHY THE NAME BUS?

Once upon a time in a land far away there was a boy named Andrew Sinclair Main. He enjoyed a simple life on a farm with with his Dad, Mum and Older Brother. He even won a citizenship award at Rocky Gully Primary and has visions of one day being the head boy of the school (He was the only boy in his year making it a sure thing). His time in this land was a happy one but sadly at the age of 11 he had to Move to Albany so that his Brother could attend High School. Living just out of town meant that Andrew had to catch the bus each day to School but that has not relevance to the nick name. It was here at Bethel Christian school that Andrew grew in his love for soccer.

Then it happend while walking onto the oval to join in his beloved game. Andrew was calmly eating a doughnut as he entered the game. A fellow student noticed this and called out "You eat anymore and you will be as big as a bus". From that day forward the name stuck. It first it caused great offensive and caused much emotional pain. Now Andrew is only used when he is in trouble. Bus has become a name that is more widely known than his real name.

Below are some photos to show how Bus has changed over the years. (more coming sometime).
