Bardick


A small venomous snake morphologically similar to a death adder that attains a maximum length of 70 cm. Large individuals potentially dangerous to children - the venom of this species is also death adder-like. Restricted to southern parts, north to Kalbarri on west coast and Boorabbin inland, then coastal on Nullarbor. Dorsal body colour is monotonal olive-green, reddish-brown or dark greyish-brown to almost black. Belly is green to reddish.
