The Ulysses Club Inc. is first and foremost a Social Club, for people with an interest in motorcycles.
The club offers the opportunities for over-forty-year-old women and men to get out there and show the world that we still have what it takes to enjoy the excitement that awaits every skilled rider and would be rider.
We show that we aren't ready to lay back and watch the weeds grow and then look back and wonder "could I have done better".
No, for us it is the open road and the friendship that comes with the great companionship of many others who wish to enjoy the biking way of life.
We organise regular rides form various starting points in the metropolitan area. Check out the Ride Calendar for more details. Rides can vary from 100km to 300km, or even more. Some rides will also include an activity and some are for overnight or a weekend. All rides are planned in advance, routes are marked and everybody is guaranteed a warm welcome.
We promote safe motor cycling and increase awareness of other road users for the safety of motor cyclists.
We used to have an active Forum, where we discussed many items of interest. Farcebook put an end to that.
We really would like you to join this Social Club.
So, who can join the Ulysses Club?
Any lady or gentleman who is over the age of 40, and who holds a current motorcycle licence, or who is a regular partner of such a person, and over 40, is eligible to join.
Until you reach the grand old age of 50, you will be a "junior" member, but with full membership rights and privileges. It's just that you might have to help some of the "seniors" off their machines sometime!
Joining is done via our National Office, either online, or by sending in an application form.
Follow this link for more information.
Once you have joined, you may attend any branch in the country.
Not sure? Come and join us a ride, to check us out. All are welcome.
