My only wish

When you walked into my life
I felt that I had been blessed with the presence of an angel
You were the one that I had always dreamt of
The handsome prince that rescues the princess

Only I wasn’t a princess
Maybe that’s why you never saw anything in me
You never even looked at me
I just wish that you would give me a chance

I know that I’m not anything special
I don’t deny that
But if you don’t give me a chance
How are you going to know
How I could have changed

You are not like anyone else
No one changes me like you
I melt every time you come near me
But your heart turns to stone whenever you hear my name

I hope that one day you change your mind about me
Because I believe that we could have something really special!
