Hey there,

I am Jasper. I am an 18 year old South Australian boy.

I chose to have goofy as my display picture as (my friends can back me up on this) I am an extremely goofy character!

I write poetry as a way of expressing my inner most feelings. I have been through a hell of a lot in my life and poetry has helped everytime.

I have suffered Lukaemia 4 times and I am only 19. My most recent time with lukaemia was extremely hard for me as I had a lot more to live for.

I wrote a poem everyday about how I was feeling, the thoughts I couldn't verbally say. They only made sense to me.

So I guess what I am trying to say is, for me poetry is very dear to me and it is an escape from what is real.

I try to write poems that have a deep meaning, but can relate to the everyday reader. I hope I am acheiving my aim.
