The after life
by Jasper Braxton

Everyone say the after life is the darkest
To me its the brightest
Because I get to see you again
I can spend my life with you all over again
I can see that pretty smile
And those dark brown eyes
I will never lie
Cause lying isn't the way
I don't care if I get pay
I lived day by day
This is what I got to say
You were there for the good and bad
Don't be sad
We're here together again
Coz GOD send you to me
I got to be a nice person
But people need to be taught a lesson
Everyone say the after life is the darkest
To me its the brightest
Because I get to see you again
I can spend my life with you all over again

A note from the author

This is about a dear friend of mine Katrina, she died when I was 12 and I haven't forgotten her and never will. This poem is dedicated to her as I cannot wait to live in Heaven with her and see her again. I miss her everyday of my life!
