This is my identity
Im a Christian, I believe in God and Im not ashamed to admit it. I know im not innocent. I drink, I’ve smoked, I've attemped suicide and have done a lot of other things I know I shouldn’t have. But we all are humans, and we are born into a sinful world. This is still no excuse, but all I can say is that we live in fear; fear of rejection, Godly fear, fear of death, fear of time, fear of anything life has to throw at us… and these contribute to the reasons why we sin, why I sin. No, I haven’t read the bible in its entirety… but I hope to one day, im sure it will make a difference somehow in my life. You might be thinking why im posting this, and why I care so much. The answer is simple, I contemplate my existence. I wonder where I came from and how we got to be the way we are today. I think about the beginning, and I fear the end. | |||||
