Hi. My name is Liz, and I am a 25-year-old Australian. I enjoy writing as a way of dealing with my past.

I was an abused child, which in some ways made me stronger, but in other ways messed up my life. I think I am like the lion in the picture above: I am strong when I need to be, but I am also gentle and nurturing.

I prefer not to share my real name; I use a pseudonym. I still want to share my writing with you though.

I am a good friend of Carrie, and we often work together on our writing. She's the one who encouraged me to share my writing, and she's the one who is helping me to come to terms with my past. That's how I became involved with this site.

I write for my own healing, but I hope it helps someone else as well.
