The second spider
by Elizabeth Braden

Up in the air, both feet off the ground
She flew, just like a glider
Her feet touched the ground
She danced round and round
And why? Because of a spider!

A note from the author

This second spider poem was written about three years after the first. This spider was nowhere near as big as the first, but it did scare me. I was on my way to the toilet, and it appeared out of nowhere!

Rather than be spooked by it, I wrote a poem about it.
