Annihalation
by S. Viddaurri

The One remains, although the Many change and pass, Heaven's light forever shines, earth's shadows fly; life, like a dome of a many colored glass, stains the white radiance of eternity until Death tramples it to fragments. So hard to be the Survivor, the one left behind, the one who aches unbearably, sleepless and alone in the night.
We are a society in the advanced state of decay, just like Rome in her glory days. But the world has to have faith, have meaning. Hope, our future for mankind, that something good and sometime does come out of a tragedy. Have no guilt, no regret, our natural human instinct is to cling to another human being for comfort. Do not supress your urge to create life in the face of death.
The voice I hear this passing night was heard crying for all man's failings and shortcomings and is, perhaps, the self-same song that found a path on my journey, learning and receiving a real education in the worst of human nature. So take heed, it's okay to need. Do not brush off the seemingly empty words of best intentions. Time does heal and time will let you feel, and no worry to repay any act of kindness! Let it multiply and pass the debt on. Salvation comes from One, but a congregation must have many.
